About the Alberta Food Bank Network Association (AFBNA)

Alberta Food Banks is engaged in developing initiatives and supporting programs to benefit Alberta food banks.
We aim to keep you updated on the situation of hunger and poverty in Alberta by maintaining an expanding website, sending out regular newsletters, and posting bulletins to keep you on top of breaking news.
Also, in our resource section are links to non-profit organizations, industry partners, our Annual Reports and other valuable information.
In addition to sharing resources, the AFBNA encourages its members to understand and abide by standards such as the Food Bank Canada’s Code of Ethics and the Food Safety Guidelines developed by the AFBNA organization.
